Bundesliga Predictions (6-1) THE FINAL SET!

Hello all, welcome back to the final set of league predictions! Today I will be wrapping up the Bundesliga with teams 6-1! Let me know what you think in the comments and feel free to subscribe and share! Thanks! Let’s get started:

6th Place- TSG 1899 Hoffenheim

Sixth place goes to the team with a very long name! In all seriousness, Hoffenheim surprised a lot of people with a third place finish last season that has placed them in the Champions League for this upcoming year. Much of their success was driven by Mark Uth and Serge Gnabry, but those two players who are no longer with the team. This leaves the team devoid of striking talent with Andrej Kramarić looking to fill the void. There is definite talent in this side I’m not saying all hope is lost. However losing 23 goals just like that will cause inconsistencies to arise at the start of the season.

5th Place- Borussia Monchengladbach

Remember what I said about long names? Yeesh this one takes the cake. After finishing ninth place last season, Bundesliga fans may question my large jump up the standings for this side. Allow me to defend my reasoning quickly. This team is loaded with young talent across the midfield and defense with seasoned veterans up front. Alassane Pléa is an underrated signing at stirker for Monchengladbach and will lead the line well. Thorgan Hazard is continuing to step out of his brother, Eden’s shadow, and make a name for himself. I really like this team and expect them to surprise many this year.

4th Place- Bayer 04 Leverkusen

Goalkeeper Bernd Leno was sold to Arsenal this past summer after making a true name for himself at Leverkusen. Instead of dropping their heads at losing one of their best players, Leverkusen turned around and addressed the issue. They signed high quality shot stopper Lukáš Hrádecky from Eintracht on a free deal. Leverkusen also did a fantastic job of holding on to starlets Leon Bailey and Julian Brandt. This sides young talent will be what drives them up the table this season and I expect them to challenge for Champions League this year.

3rd Place- RB Leipzig

This Leipzig side is so young that it makes predicting their position quite difficult. With a squad of 24 players, their average age in the side is 23.6 years old! That is remarkably young for a side that is looking to challenge the top of the table this year. Striker Timo Werner has reliable partners in Yussuf Poulsen and Jean-Kévin Augustin to shoulder the goal scoring load. The one issue I see potentially arising is the loss of Naby Keïta in the midfield. His top attribute was consistent, high-quality play that I think Leipzig will deeply miss. If anything holds this side back it will be his absence.

2nd Place- Borussia Dortmund

Another year of so close yet so far will be the story of Dortmund’s season. Don’t get me wrong this team has loads of talent and that’s not the problem. The issue is that the team above them is just so far above all teams in terms of quality. Personally, I’d like to see Dortmund challenge for the title and potentially take the crown. Marco Reus has stayed with the team while seemingly everyone else around his has left. (see Robert Lewandoski, Pierre-Emrick Aubameyang, Sokratis, Mario Gotze who is now returned) Reus will seek to drive Dortmund forward linking up with every American’s hero Christian Pulisic and loan signing Paco Alcacer. Another player to keep an eye on is Jadon Sancho. The young Englishman is a hot prospect who is playing at a high level for the side. Fingers crossed Dortmund prove me wrong and win it all.

1st Place- Bayern Munich

In a decision that shocks none, I have chosen Bayern Munich to claim another Bundesliga title. This would make it seven straight for a side that has made its name on using their wealth to cripple the other teams in their league. High quality players like Mats Hummels and Robert Lewandowski are both Borussia Dortmund products while Leon Goretzka was a top talent for Schalke last year. The only way Bayern doesn’t claim another league title is injuries to their key players, which is pretty much their whole side. I’m sorry for the bland pick, but Bayern should win the league unchallenged again this season.

So that’s it for my predictions! Let me know what you all think! Feel free to share and subscribe and until next time God bless!
